I need help!
I use this blog primarily as a tool to showcase my adorable son and keep all our friends and family in touch with Fischer while he grows up. I am grateful to have this opportunity so that people can come and go at will without being bombarded with constant pictures.
Oh, the internet. What did we do without it? I can tell you this much, being a "stay at home mom" wouldn't be the same without it. And when the pc has problems (many & often), then I get pissed.
Anyway, Since I got you to the blog, I'll give some pics of the baby. (FYI, perfect example of blogger not working properly. Only one out of several will post.) He's starting to learn the word ball. He loves his balls (I know- ha ha). He pulls up on everything and has just started to take steps while holding on to things. We a
re experimenting more and more with food too. He likes to eat on his own and is getting tired of me feeding him baby food. He has been spending a ton if time with Grandma & Grandpa (thank God for them:))Last night I took Dale on a date to see the Black Crowes at the Greek. Love the venue by the way. Saw lots of good friends there too (Amanda, Jenny, Greg, Shannon & Amie- fun surprise that she was). Show was good but short. Oh and if you like Taylor from American Idol, I saw him in person and on stage. What was he doing there? I don't know. Back to BC, Chris Robinson could have stepped it up on the attire. He looked much better last Oct at the Henry Fonda. But I guess that's ehat happens when you start to play bigger venues and have more dates. I even insisted on buying Dale a shirt.
Many of you have already received my letter about the Avon Walk. I would like to take just a moment to ask for help again. Several years back I witnessed the effects of breast cancer on a very close friend of mine. While this woman was resilient and is healthy now, it was a very emotional and scary place to be. I feel that I was meant to know her at the time I did for both her and I. I have taken a lot from that experience and have been committed to the cause ever since. I have participated in The Race For the Cure (Susan G. Komen Foundation) several times and am looking forward to this event. If you would like to help me and can donate online, then please take a moment to log on to www.avonwalk.org. From there, you can click on "DONATE"; then on "Donate to a particpant"; then sleect "Los Angeles 2006"; enter my name and procede from there. if you would like to write a check, please mail it to me or contact me for more information.
If now is not the time for you to donate, then please support me emotionally and send good thoughts my way. I think at this point I cannot grasp exactly just how hard walking 26.2 miles will be. Yikes!
Until next time~
