So New Baby

It's time to really focus. And for those of you who know me, know that once I set my mind to something that's all I can really think about. My neighbor told me that I obsess about things but I'll choose to take that in a positive way and be flattered that I really take time to discern and evaluate my projects, thoughts and new ideas. My new focus is the nursery for Baby # 2. It is an office but is slowly being de-constructed to swaddle an infant. I have completed the laborious task of selecting a theme, bedding, colors, additional furniture and art, as shown here. My sister turned me on to a fabulous artist who has incredible talent. I found these prints online, of which she replicated for "the new baby's" nursery. I haven't committed to a name but I know what his room will look like while he sleeps.

I have all the same questions about "the new baby" as I did with Fischer, just less time to ponder them (or obsess). Like...what color hair and eyes? Will he get the luck of the golden curls and the lustrous eyelashes?

Some notes about Fischer: he has resumed swimming lessons; he successfully switched from soy to whole milk and is just showing signs of missing his Daddy extremely while he's away. Dale heading off to work in the mornings leaves Fischer upset with me and he clings to him the second he gets home. He has actually always preferred him over me but that's OK because it gives me a break.
