Rain, rain, stay awhile

I really don't mind the rain. it happens so rarely that it's nice to put on the comfy clothes and snuggle up indoors. We had such a warm winter, that it's almost overdue. I know- my dad and my husband both disagree, but a little rain never hurt anybody.

Last week the flue took us both out. It's sucks being sick when you have a baby. No energy to spend on that innocent little, attention craving, bundle of joy.

Fischer's getting so big! (duh.) About to crawl. I'm not sure how long this stage goes, but he gets on all fours and rocks and really wants to get moving. He loves to stand. When he's sitting on the floor and puts his arms out for me, it's not to be held and cuddle, it's to stand up and look around. He went on a hunger strike last week and wouldn't finish any bottles, let alone drink the night-time bottle. The pediatrician told me that's OK, keep up on the food- even start table food and just keep offering the bottle every time. Now when he finishes 6 oz I feel so proud. He loves his food though, so I guess it's up to me to keep giving him new things to try.

We start swimming lessons tomorrow. Should be interesting considering that I can't swim myself. I bought him some trunks and some little swim daipers.

Well, Daddy's home- favorite part of Fischer's day. He's getting so attached to him. It's amazing to see them play together. Good thing for Dale too, because he makes him do all kinds of new things that I don't even think of (like holding his own bottle). Thank goodness for that little trick, it helps a ton when you want to get something done.

Blogger My Ass

This crappy website hardly ever functions as it should. I'll try for days to post his latest and greatest photos.
