Easter 2010

Great day! I would have to say that the best part of the day was the "kids" activities: egg hunt, bubbles & kites. Who knew that the kids kites would end up being a battle of testosterone among the dads. Spiderman had a great lead for a while, then Barbie went up & stayed up forever without flailing, while Yo Gabba Gabba had a rough take-off & tail trouble but did fly for a while in the end. At one point Fischer was so tired of flying the kite, he laid down on the grass and took a rest, while holding the string with his feet (show-off).

Of course the meal was fabulous and the traditional bunny cake was great, in addition to a new added dessert this year- Guinness cake, brought by none other than Mitch. In the end, Dale's big question was, where's all the chocolate candy??? I guess there were too many jelly beans for his taste and not enough peanut butter cups. Next year, baby...

Now, we wait for Baby Trevor. Wendy's doing great, feeling great & looking great. Her due date is April 24. We all can't wait to have a new little baby around again.
