There are so many things to say. Let's start at the beginning.
Due Date: 7/26/07; Induced Friday 7/27/07
Check in at 7:30 am - lots of confusion and rude nurses. Not the way to start my day- or Caleb's, but we got past it.
Started the drugs at 9:30 to start contractions.
Water broke at 11:30, epidural by 12:30, laid around for a few hours, pushed for 20 minutes and out came Caleb at 3:35pm. 8lbs, 3 oz , 20 inches long (smaller than Fischer).

Wendy came to the house to watch Fischer- lifesaver. Not only did she keep the house clean, she did laundry and made dinners for us. Huge help.

Lots of visitors in the hospital- lots of good take-out brought in. Lots of sleeping while in the hospital. Sent Caleb to the nursery both nights for uninterrupted sleep.

Now we're home and getting settled in. Caleb is still in the sleeping phase so the chaos hasn't begun. Check back in 2 weeks and I'll be pulling my hair out. Fischer seems to like Caleb a lot but again, wait until Daddy goes back to work and we're all alone in the house...just the 3 of us.

I am nursing and things are going pretty well. Caleb was up all night on the first night home but he only woke twice for feedings the second night and only once last night. I'm taking all the sleep I can now.

Funny thing about the last picture- where's Fischer's hand? He loves it in there.
